Bu program, disiplinler arası Sistem Analizi ve Kontrol Teorisi alanında yüksek lisans derecesi almak isteyen mühendislik ve temel bilim öğrencilerine yöneliktir.

Programa kayıtlı öğrenciler aşağıda belirtilen ilgili alanların her birinden 2 tane bölüm seçmelisi ve alan veya bölüm kısıtlaması olmaksızın, danışman onayı dahilinde, öğrencinin çalışma konusuyla ilgili 2 tane seçmeli dersi tamamlamakla yükümlüdür:

- Kontrol Sistemleri ve Robotik (CON)
- Yöneylem Araştırma (OR)

Yüksek Lisans Semineri (SCO 579)
Programa kayıtlı her öğrenci, SCO 579 dersini tamamlamak için, programa dahil olan bölümlerin düzenlediği lisansüstü seminerlerden en az 10’una katılmaları; katıldıkları seminerlerde, semineri düzenleyen öğretim üyesi ya da konuşmacıdan, Seminer Formu'na imza almaları gerekmektedir. Bu seminerler arasında en az birinin “bilimsel araştırma teknikleri ve yayın etiği” konularını kapsaması zorunludur. Öğrenciler seminer dersini aldıkları dönemin sonunda formlarını danışmanlarına teslim ederler.
Yüksek Lisans Tezi (SCO 690)
Programa kayıtlı her öğrenci, 3. dönemin başında Yüksek Lisans Tezi (SCO 690) dersine kayıt olmak zorundadır. Bu sebeple öğrenci kendine, programa katılan mühendislik bölümlerinden (EE, CmpE, ME, IE) birinde tam zamanlı olarak çalışan öğretim üyeleri arasından bir tez danışmanı bulmalıdır. Tezin konusu üzerinde öğrenci ve tez danışmanı anlaştıktan sonra, öğrenci tez danışmanına yazılı bir tez önerisi (dijital olarak) teslim eder. Tez danışmanı yazılı öneriyi, kabul etmesi durumunda, onayıyla birlikte akademik danışmana iletir. Tez önerisi akademik danışma kurulu tarafından da onaylandıktan sonra, akademik danışman öğrenciyi derse resmi olarak kaydeder. Öğrencinin, verili bir sömestrde en geç ders ekleme/çıkarma döneminin sonuna kadar yetiştirebilmesi için, sürece mümkün olduğunca erken başlaması önerilir. Tezin konusuna bağlı olarak başka bölümlerden, enstitülerden, üniversitelerden öğretim üyeleri, yahut sektör temsilcileri tez eş-danışmanı olarak görev alabilir.
